Jordan Beagle: Son of SC State Alumni follows in his parents footsteps leading his way to a bright future

How early are you willing to wake up in the morning ? Jordan Beagle often starts his day with PT at 5 am for the ROTC program, breakfast, and an 8 o'clock class. This young man born in Princeton, Virginia says coping with his early scheduled now comes with ease and is something that you learn to get use to. Now Jordon currently resides in Columbia, South Carolina and continues his education at South Carolina State University .

Throughout Jordan's childhood he was constantly moving, a luxury which often comes with life as a military child. Jordan explains as he tells of the different locations he has lived in, one of which he loved was South Korea, "I got to experience a different culture".At the age of 18 Jordan and his family packed their bags and headed to Columbia, South Carolina where Jordan currently resides.

Beagle's parents are alumni of South Carolina State University and while his father participated in the ROTC program, Jordan than followed in his parents footsteps and he too became a fellow bulldog joining the ROTC program as well. When asking Jordan how he felt about SC State and those who he has gotten to know here he says, "Everyone I know is down to earth. Some of the people I hang out with are Mass Communication Majors, line brothers, or they are in ROTC."

In Spring 2015 Jordan Beagle became a brother of the fraternity Alpha Phi Alpha.  "Being an Alpha has made me a better leader, more active in the community, and I am now more involved in community service."
As a Mass Communication Major future goals would include being an anchor or a television correspondent. His favorite class this semester would include TV production, "I get more of a hands on experience with the television equipment".
